Think Local is a movement which seeks to connect people at a grassroots level to explore alternatives to global food provision and healthcare. The scheduled Think Local Festival was to take place in Ireland on 20th July 2023 but was cancelled 2 hours before the launch because of threats to the venue. The speakers, which included Professor Mattias Desmet and Filmmaker James Patrick, took part in a press conference to exlplain. ​DONATIONS: The abrupt cancellation of the festival with 2 hours to go has left organizers with considerable financial losses.
